1st Alpine Workshop on „Fire-induced geohydrological processes in mountainous areas“

The meeting featured a series of presentations and discussions (see programme) and included a field excursion to assess the effects of the July 2022 forest fire along the railway corridor in the karst area of Duino, Trieste (Italy). Participants represented research institutions, fire brigades, governmental bodies, and engineering offices from selected Alpine regions (Switzerland, Austria, Northern Italy, Slovenia), as well as Central Italy and Germany.
